FMCG major Marico reported a 29% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹559 crore for the September quarter, supported by strong revenue growth and healthy performance across its domestic and international businesses.
New Delhi, November 2 — FMCG company Marico Ltd reported a 29% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹559 crore for the second quarter ended September 2026.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of ₹433 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Marico’s revenue from operations increased 25.7% to ₹3,887 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹3,092 crore in the year-ago period.
The company said its India business delivered double-digit underlying volume growth, supported by improving demand trends and continued traction across its core and emerging portfolios.
Marico’s domestic business includes well-known product categories such as coconut oil, edible oils, value-added hair oils and foods.
Its international operations also continued to support overall growth during the quarter.
The company has been expanding its presence beyond traditional categories as it looks to build newer businesses and reduce dependence on its established portfolios.
Marico has increasingly focused on segments such as foods, premium personal care and digital-first brands, which have emerged as important components of its long-term growth strategy.
The company said consolidated EBITDA increased 15% year-on-year, reflecting growth in the underlying business despite commodity-cost pressures.
The quarterly performance comes amid changing consumption trends in the Indian FMCG market.
Demand conditions have been gradually improving, while companies continue to manage fluctuations in raw-material prices and other input costs.
Marico’s performance indicates that stronger volumes and revenue growth helped the company maintain momentum during the September quarter.
The company remains focused on strengthening its core franchises while accelerating growth in newer categories.
Going forward, investors will closely monitor demand recovery, commodity prices and the performance of Marico’s emerging businesses as the FMCG company looks to sustain its growth trajectory.
