IPO-bound PRISM, the parent company of hospitality chain OYO, reported a 17% rise in consolidated profit after tax to ₹353 crore in the June quarter, while revenue jumped 35% year-on-year.
New Delhi, November 2 — PRISM, the parent entity of hospitality company OYO, reported a 17% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit after tax to ₹353 crore for the first quarter ended June.
The company had posted a profit of ₹301 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
According to audited financials, the quarterly profit included a deferred-tax credit of around ₹244 crore.
Revenue from operations increased 35% to ₹2,814 crore in the first quarter of FY2026-27, compared with ₹2,078 crore in the year-ago period.
The company’s Gross Booking Value rose 30% to nearly ₹9,600 crore during the quarter.
Growth was broad-based across both its hotels and vacation homes businesses.
PRISM’s hotel segment recorded a 30% year-on-year rise in bookings, while bookings in its vacation homes business increased 28%.
Founder Ritesh Agarwal had told shareholders at the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting in early October that the strong momentum had continued into the first quarter of FY27.
He said the company was seeing improving gross margins and higher operating earnings across both hotels and vacation homes, even as it continued investing in brand expansion and customer demand.
Agarwal also said PRISM is benefiting from investments made over the past few years in technology, brands and distribution capabilities.
The company continues to invest aggressively while maintaining healthy operating earnings.
North America remains an important market for PRISM following the acquisition of G6 Hospitality.
Agarwal said G6 alone generated approximately ₹14,000 crore in Gross Booking Value during FY26, highlighting the growing importance of the company’s geographically diversified business.
The latest results come as PRISM prepares for a potential public-market listing.
The combination of rising bookings, stronger revenue and improved profitability could be closely watched by investors as the company moves towards an IPO.
