The housing finance company reported quarterly net profit of ₹617 crore, while assets under management grew 17% year-on-year to ₹98,210 crore.
PNB Housing Finance reported a 6% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹617 crore for the second quarter of the 2026–27 financial year, ended September 30, 2026. The company had recorded a net profit of ₹582 crore in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.
The company’s total income rose to ₹2,424 crore from ₹2,131 crore in the same period last year, according to its regulatory filing. Interest income increased to ₹2,289 crore, compared with ₹2,017 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Net interest income, which reflects the difference between interest earned and interest paid, grew 15% to ₹878 crore from ₹765 crore a year earlier. The net interest margin remained unchanged at 3.67%.
Asset quality improved during the period. Gross non-performing assets declined to 0.91% as of September 30, 2026, compared with 1.04% at the end of September 2025. A lower gross NPA ratio generally indicates a smaller proportion of loans classified as non-performing.
The company’s assets under management reached ₹98,210 crore at the end of September, marking 17% growth from a year earlier. This reflects an expansion in the overall loan portfolio managed by the housing finance provider.
The capital adequacy ratio stood at 27.02% on September 30, compared with 29.80% at the end of the corresponding quarter in the previous financial year. The ratio measures a lender’s capital buffer relative to its risk-weighted assets.
The quarterly results indicate growth in profit, interest income and assets under management, alongside an improvement in reported gross asset quality. The company’s future performance will depend on loan growth, borrowing costs, margins and its ability to maintain asset quality.
