At Jio Platforms’ landmark listing celebration, Anant Ambani thanked customers, employees and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the company’s role in India’s digital ambitions.
Anant Ambani expressed gratitude to Jio’s customers, employees and partners during the celebrations marking Jio Platforms’ stock market listing, describing the milestone as a result of the trust millions of people had placed in the company.
Beginning his speech with “Jai Shri Krishna”, Anant said gratitude was the most important message of the occasion. He thanked the millions of people whose trust in Jio had helped make the milestone possible.
Referring to Jio’s role in India’s digital transformation, Anant said the company may not always be visible, but it is present in the country’s digital aspirations. He addressed Jio’s approximately 530 million customers, saying their dreams remained central to the company’s ambitions.
Anant also acknowledged his siblings, Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani, emphasising their shared commitment to respecting customers’ aspirations and fulfilling their expectations.
He specifically thanked technicians who climb telecom towers, engineers, field teams, store employees and retail partners. He credited their work and dedication for helping build and operate Jio’s services, saying the milestone belonged to them as well.
Anant expressed deep appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, crediting the government’s Digital India vision and continued support with helping shape Jio’s purpose. He said the company would work with commitment towards the goal of a developed India.
Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani were also present at the celebration. According to the source material, Mukesh Ambani became emotional during Anant’s speech.
