New Delhi: Polycab India reported strong financial results for the first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising 32.8% year-on-year to ₹796.65 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company’s performance reflected sustained demand across its core electrical products business.
Revenue from operations increased 39% to ₹8,209.73 crore, compared with ₹5,905.98 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income also climbed 38.9% to ₹8,314.65 crore, highlighting strong business momentum during the April–June period.
The company continued to benefit from healthy demand for its wires and cables business, supported by infrastructure projects, real estate activity and industrial demand. Growth across its electrical products portfolio also contributed to the overall performance during the quarter.
Polycab has strengthened its position as India’s largest manufacturer of wires and cables while continuing to expand its presence in the fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) segment. The company has been focusing on increasing manufacturing capacity, expanding distribution and improving operational efficiency.
The strong first-quarter results provide a positive start to FY27 as the company looks to capitalize on continued investments in infrastructure, housing and industrial development. Investors will also watch management’s outlook for demand trends and margin performance in the coming quarters.
