Kilburn Engineering’s subsidiary Monga Strayfield will expand its Pune manufacturing capacity to serve growing demand for data centre and critical power infrastructure.
Kilburn Engineering Ltd has approved a capital investment of up to ₹25 crore to expand the precision engineering and manufacturing capabilities of its subsidiary, Monga Strayfield, at its Pune facility.
The expansion will increase manufacturing capacity for enclosures, cabinets and assemblies used in data centre infrastructure, transformers and critical power applications, the company said on Friday.
The project will be implemented progressively over the next six to nine months, with commissioning and utilisation aligned with operational readiness and customer requirements.
Kilburn Engineering expects its precision engineering business to generate revenue of around ₹50–60 crore in FY27. Once the expanded facility reaches scale, the operations could support annual revenue of approximately ₹150 crore, depending on product mix, capacity utilisation and manufacturing arrangements.
The investment is also intended to strengthen Monga Strayfield’s ability to serve Vertiv and other domestic customers while pursuing opportunities in international markets.
