Force Motors has partnered with Rosmerta Auto Recycling to provide customers with an authorised route for scrapping end-of-life vehicles, supporting safer recycling and India’s circular economy goals.
Mumbai, October 22 — Force Motors Ltd has entered into a partnership with Rosmerta Auto Recycling to provide its customers access to an authorised vehicle scrapping facility for retiring old and end-of-life vehicles.
Under the collaboration, eligible Force Motors vehicles will undergo the required documentation and scrapping process at Rosmerta’s facility.
The process will include depollution, dismantling and segregation of materials, followed by recovery of recyclable materials such as steel and aluminium.
Rosmerta operates an authorised Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in the National Capital Region.
The company said its facility follows environmentally compliant procedures designed to ensure that vehicles are dismantled safely and recyclable materials are returned to the manufacturing ecosystem.
The partnership is also aimed at making the scrapping process easier and more dependable for Force Motors customers whose vehicles have reached the end of their useful operating life.
Kartick V Nagpal, President at Rosmerta Group, said the arrangement gives Force Motors customers a clear route to an authorised facility.
He said vehicles arriving at the facility will be safely depolluted and dismantled, while materials such as steel and aluminium will be recovered for recycling.
This helps ensure that the material value contained in an old vehicle is not lost and can be reused in the wider manufacturing cycle.
Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors Ltd, said responsible disposal is an important part of the overall lifecycle of a vehicle.
He said the association with Rosmerta Recycling will provide customers with a dependable and authorised option once their vehicles reach the end of their useful life.
Vehicle scrapping has become an increasingly important part of India’s automotive policy framework as the government encourages the retirement of older and less efficient vehicles.
Authorised scrapping facilities are designed to ensure that hazardous fluids and components are removed safely before recyclable metals and other materials are recovered.
The model supports the broader circular economy, where useful materials from old vehicles can return to industrial production instead of being discarded.
For automakers, partnerships with registered scrapping facilities can also provide customers with a more structured end-of-life ownership experience.
The collaboration between Force Motors and Rosmerta therefore links vehicle sales and ownership with responsible disposal and recycling at the end of the vehicle lifecycle.
