IBT Thought Leadership Session with Prof Jagdish Sheth on contract farming

Jagdish Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt Professor of Business in the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, engages in a one-on-one interaction with Virat Bahri, Editor, India Business & Trade (IBT) on the potential of contract farming in India.

He talks about international success stories as well as the possible areas where farmers may need to be supported, when they embark on direct engagements with companies. In addition, he also talks about the ways in which contract farming can help fuel India’s ambitions for its food processing industry and agri exports.
