Homegrown QSR chain operator Wow! Momo has entered the instant noodles market with a new range of cup noodles, capitalizing on the segment’s strong growth. The company aims to generate US$ 12 million in revenue from Wow! Noodles within 24 months, according to a statement. Wow! Momo Foods currently operates over 700 outlets in more than 60 cities.

Beyond traditional retail channels, Wow! Noodles will also explore inflight menu opportunities with Akasa Air, Air India Express, and SpiceJet. The product will be available across quick commerce (Q-Com) and online platforms, as well as leading modern trade channels in 200 towns and cities.

The brand’s instant noodles range combines Asian and Indian flavors, featuring Thukpa, Khao Suey, Manchurian, Korean, and Chinese Bhel, promising a unique taste experience.

Commenting on the launch, Group CEO & Founder Sagar Daryani stated, “With Wow! Noodles, we are disrupting the cup noodles category by bringing the perfect blend of desi and Asian flavours in a format that is both convenient and exciting. As we continue to expand our FMCG footprint, this launch marks a significant step towards making Wow! Momo as a household name beyond QSR (Quick Service Restaurant).”

The Indian instant noodles market is currently led by Nestlé’s Maggi, followed by ITC’s Yippee and CG Foods’ Wai Wai. A report by Mordor Intelligence projects the Indian instant noodles market to grow at a CAGR of 15.31%, expanding from US$ 1.88 billion in 2023 to US$ 3.83 billion by 2028.
