The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, said for the first time in the last 7 months, India’s exports rose for the first time in seven months in February growing by 2.91% to US$ 27.65 billion. India’s imports too grew by 2.48% to US$ 37.5 billion, causing a trade deficit of US$ 9.85 billion as against US$ 9.72 billion in February 2019. Further, India’s oil imports jumped by 14.26% to US$ 10.76 billion in February compared to 9.41 billion in the year-ago month.
