AI, analytics most sought after tech skills: Infosys

The findings of a new research titled “Infosys Talent Radar 2019″conducted by Infosys revealed that analytics, user experience, automation, IT architecture and Artificial Intelligence are among the most sought after tech skills. The study was conducted in India, Australia, China, France, Germany, the UK and the US.

The study assessed tangible and intangible barriers to talent transformation. Lack of budget, organisational issues, lack of management awareness or support, and inadequate talent management plans, respectively are the major tanglible barriers that prevent sufficient demand-supply match of talent. A gap in learning featured as the major intangible barrier. “There is not just a talent war — it’s a famine. To succeed, companies must hire, develop, and retain talent better than their competition,” stated Pravin Rao, Chief Operating Officer, Infosys.
